Designated Preferred Supplier — Supply Ontario VOR 2026–2028

Procurement processes through this arrangement are streamlined for eligible ministries, agencies, and broader public-sector organizations.

The Becoming Method™

Developed over 15 years of clinical practice and research, the Becoming Method is a proprietary psychotherapeutic framework grounded in truth, forgiveness, and reconciliation — shaped by the African philosophical tradition of Ubuntu, which holds that healing is inherently relational and collective. It is the foundation of every program Becoming Institute designs and delivers.

Trauma-Informed at the Core
Every program is built on advanced mental health knowledge, psychosocial risk awareness, and disciplined non-clinical boundaries — translating psychological science into practical, role-appropriate action.
Ubuntu-Informed Collective Healing
Healing is not individual — it is relational, communal, and structural. Our approach addresses trauma at the level of individual identity, family systems, and collective community health, with particular relevance to Black, Indigenous, and equity-deserving populations.
Decolonized Practice Framework
Programs are designed to challenge colonial structures embedded in healthcare and educational systems — centering the knowledge, experience, and healing traditions of marginalized communities alongside evidence-based clinical science.
Regulator-Informed Standards
All programs operate within and advance the regulatory standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario, the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, and the Canadian Nurses Association.
