This 6-month professional development program equips Ontario nurses to integrate trauma-informed psychotherapy into clinical and community care.
This immersive, in-person retreat is a transformational anchor in the RN-Psychotherapist Credentialing Pathway. Designed to support both professional growth and personal insight, it combines trauma-informed theory, experiential learning, and applied clinical skills. Over three powerful days, participants engage in guided self-reflection, skill-building exercises, and peer-based practice using the Becoming Method®—a proven, integrative approach to trauma recovery.
Put theory into practice through a 1,000-hour supervised practicum that bridges classroom learning with hands-on care. As part of the RN Credentialing Pathway, you’ll gain direct experience delivering trauma-informed psychotherapy in diverse and equity-focused settings.
