Mindful Fitness Program – New Year’s Special

Effective Date: 14 January 2024

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) set forth the terms under which the Becoming Institute Inc. (“Institute,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our”) agrees to provide the Mindful Fitness Program (“Program”) to the undersigned participant (“Client,” “You,” or “Your”). By enrolling in the Program and accepting these Terms and Conditions via the designated checkbox, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Agreement.

 

1. Program Description

The Mindful Fitness New Year’s Special (“Program”) is a limited-time offering designed to provide clients with access to transformative psychotherapy sessions at a reduced rate.

The Program includes:

  • Three (3) 90-minute individual psychotherapy sessions facilitated by a certified RN Psychotherapist at the Becoming Institute.
  • Total Fee: $450 (reflecting a 40% discount from the standard rate of $810).

These sessions are derived from the psychotherapy phase (Weeks 2-8) of the Becoming Institute’s comprehensive 16-week Mindful Fitness Program.

Purpose and Scope:

  • The Program introduces clients to the Becoming Institute’s proprietary therapeutic model, which incorporates the Conscious Forgiveness Process to address emotional blockages, facilitate trauma recovery, and promote personal growth.
  • The Program is structured to provide personalized, intention-driven psychotherapy that fosters deeper self-awareness and resilience.

Additional Sessions and Full Program Access:

  • Clients may continue beyond the initial three (3) sessions by enrolling in additional sessions at the discounted rate of $180/hour (standard rate: $270/hour).
  • Enrollment in the full 16-week Mindful Fitness Program is available and includes:
    • Week 1: Safe and Sound Protocol for nervous system regulation.
    • Weeks 2-8: Seven (7) additional psychotherapy sessions.
    • Week 9: A 3-day immersive training retreat to support continued healing.
    • Weeks 10-16: Seven (7) weeks of life and health coaching aimed at realizing personal, health, and wellness goals.

Enrollment Process:

  • Select “Continue” – Clients proceed by clicking the “Continue” button on the Program page.
  • Review Terms and Conditions – Clients are required to carefully read and accept these Terms and Conditions by selecting the agreement checkbox.
  • Purchase – Clients complete the purchase of three (3) sessions for $450.
  • Confirmation and Welcome Email – Upon successful purchase, Clients receive a welcome email confirming enrollment.
  • Initial Booking – Clients book their initial case management session using the Calendly link provided in the welcome email.
  • Case Management Assignment – Following the initial case management meeting, the clinical case manager assigns the Client to one of the Institute’s RN Psychotherapists.
  • Session Scheduling – The Client selects three (3) session dates, with each session scheduled a minimum of one (1) week apart.

Special Offer Period:

  • This promotional offer is available for purchase until January 31, 2025.
  • All sessions must be completed within three (3) months of the initial session.

Informed Consent for Psychotherapy:

  • By enrolling in the Program, the Client acknowledges that they understand the nature of psychotherapy and consent to participate in the sessions.
  • The Client further acknowledges that psychotherapy may bring up difficult emotions or memories as part of the healing process, and they agree to engage in this process voluntarily.

2. Eligibility and Transferability

 

The Program is available to new and returning clients.

  • Parents or legal guardians may purchase the Program for children aged 16 or older.
  • The Program is transferable. Clients may gift or transfer their purchase by notifying the Institute in writing prior to the first session.

Program Expiration:

  • All sessions must be completed within three (3) months of the initial session. Sessions not completed within this period will expire without refund.
  • A one-month extension may be granted upon payment of a $75 extension fee, provided the request is made before the original expiration date.

3. Payment and Refund Policy

 

Payment: Full payment of $450 is required at the time of enrollment.

Refund Policy:

  • Clients may cancel at any time. Cancellations are subject to a $60 administrative fee.
  • Refund Calculation:
    • Refunds for completed sessions are calculated at the standard rate of $270 per session.
    • Example: If one (1) session has been completed and the Client elects to cancel, the refund is calculated as:
    • $450 – $270 (for 1 session) – $60 (admin fee) = $120.
  • Late Cancellations and No-Shows: Cancellations made within 24 hours of a scheduled session result in the forfeiture of that session without refund or rescheduling.

4. Limitation of Liability

 

The Institute bears no liability for outcomes resulting from third-party referrals or external services recommended during the Program.

Limitation of Damages:

  • The Institute’s total liability under this Agreement, regardless of the nature of the claim, shall not exceed the total fees paid by the Client for the Program.
  • The Institute shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the Client’s participation in the Program.

5. Emergency and Crisis Services

 

The Mindful Fitness Program does not provide crisis intervention or emergency mental health services. Clients experiencing acute psychological distress are advised to contact 911 or visit the nearest hospital.

6. Reporting Concerns

 

If the Client has concerns regarding the conduct of their RN Psychotherapist, they may file a complaint with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). Further information on the complaint process is available at www.cno.org or by calling 1-800-387-5526.
