Quality Assurance & Evidence Lead (Contract)

Overview

The Becoming Institute is seeking a Quality Assurance & Evidence Lead (Contract) to support our Psychological Health and Safety Certificate Program. You will build and operate the program’s quality and evidence backbone—document control, completion evidence standards, record integrity, sampling audits, issue tracking, corrective action closure, and controlled releases—so delivery remains consistent at scale and program records stay defensible, traceable, and review-ready throughout the year.

Skills Required
  • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance, program governance, learning operations QA, compliance documentation, or audit-ready program delivery.
  • Strong document control capability: versioning, approvals, change logs, controlled releases, and release notes.
  • Proven experience implementing evidence capture standards and record integrity rules (completion verification, auditable artifacts, traceable logs).
  • Comfort operating sampling-based QA (session observation/review, record audits, rubric checks) and driving corrective actions to closure.
  • Ability to design practical controls that reduce rework: checklists, templates, gating rules, and clear acceptance criteria.
  • Strong written communication for executive-ready summaries, issue logs, and closure documentation.
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Build the program’s quality operating model: quality checklists, acceptance criteria, sampling plan, issue log structure, corrective action workflow, and closure-evidence requirements.
  • Establish and run document control across all program assets (slides, manuals, microlearning, templates, tools): versioning, approvals, change logs, controlled releases, and release notes.
  • Define completion evidence requirements and embed them into delivery workflows (attendance capture, learning checks, applied artifacts, PASS/REVISION rules where applicable).
  • Operate the evidence system during delivery: completeness checks, reconciliation rules, and traceability of records by cohort and time period.
  • Maintain the program issue log: triage, severity rating, owner assignment, remediation tracking, verification, and closure evidence.
  • Run periodic sampling audits during delivery (delivery consistency, evidence integrity, marking workflow discipline, and record completeness).
  • Produce quality summaries and trend insights to support quarterly review cycles and continuous improvement decisions.
Additional Requirements
  • Eligibility: Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
  • Preferred: Background in public sector and/or regulated environments where evidence integrity, defensible records, and controlled releases are required.

  • Quality-first operating culture: You’ll work in a team that values disciplined controls, evidence integrity, and execution standards—so your work is used, sustained, and trusted.
  • Real ownership and decision rights: This is not an “advisory” QA role—you’ll own the evidence backbone, control points, and release discipline that keep delivery stable.
  • System-building mandate: Build reusable QA and evidence infrastructure (templates, logs, checklists, sampling routines) that will carry forward into future programs.
  • Cross-functional partnership: Collaborate closely with Program Operations, Accessibility, Production, and Facilitation leads—tight handoffs, clear accountability, shared cadence.
  • Remote-first, outcome-driven work: Professional flexibility with clear deliverables, predictable rhythms, and documentation discipline.
